The hottest and Newest nail Lacquer

You don't have to know me well to know I love doing my nails. I don't even go to nail salons anymore. I find the process to be both relaxing and rewarding. The slow smooth strokes and the satisfaction of beautifying yourself for never more than $10 a bottle.

So who to choose. This is important b/c understanding a few things is key. First of all, the difference between polish and lacquer. Its simple. Lacquer is more like house paint. It's a solid color that tends to require less coats and is a denser tone. Polish is where you'll find your sparkles and sheers. Here's something else to know. It's ALL about the consistency. A polish too thick wont ever dry. Plus it forces you to slather on far more than you need to cover the nail. A polish too thin will run off the nail and also tends to leave areas less covered than others.

So now that we've got that covered let me tell you the brands and colors that I am most impressed with.

MAC Cosmetics

Essie Nail Polish

OPI Nail Lacquer
