Let’s talk about British ladies, shall we? The past year has been bombarded with two uber-sexy, unique spirited, fashion conscience ladies from Europa! Amy Whinhouse and her staple, madly teased beehive, rockabilly tattoos and "im outta rehab" ripped t-shirt and tight jeans & Lily Allen rocking those adorable dark, blunt bangs, fancy kicks and always brightly colored dress. So its heard through the vines of the tangled interweb that these ladies have beef with one another? A wise character in The Libertine once said "People will dislike you for only two reasons. They are either jealous or stupid". Well said, Mr. Depp. I would have to assume in such a stressful, money flowing, valet parking world that it gets really hard to smile all the time. Theses ladies are both special and have slammin' cool characteristics unlike the others. So what’s the beef? A1 sauce anyone? Lets break this down. Fashion is a socially uniting phenomena, its something that everyone thinks about, but only some obsess over. I refuse to sport a Team Lily or Team Amy t-shirt, but I will say this. Anyone who posts pictures on myspace of them crying in a hotel room wins big points with me. GO LILY! She’s sweet, sensitive and funny. I love that in a woman. Embrace the similarities and not the differences in your paychecks and or record sales. Compliment each other on the "thumbs-up fashion statements" and applaud the gal who can wear heavier earrings. Please? Its all about the music, right? If not, say that in your songs and stop fooling around. Cheers
