tapered jeans

Dear denim industry,

I've got some serious problems with you as of late. It started with this whole low-rise thing. I don't like jeans that fasten over my belly button either, but there are an awful lot of of ladies who do not have the figure to sport jeans that stop mid hip. Forget mid hip, often we're talking about low, low, low hip. So we get 'the muffin top' and nobody wants that. I don't, the general public doesn't, its bad. Now, its 'skinny jeans' which I thought meant stretch jeans that you wear on an especially good body image day. But I was wrong, aparantly it means a tapered ankle. Remember those 'hips' I was talking about before? Tapered jeans do nothing for those. I need a little length in my leg to balance out those aforementioned hips. Emphasizing my svelte ankles is useless, it makes my look chubby and stumpy. That's why I thank you, UniQlo for making medium-rise jeans, and you, Shin Choi, for making stretch jeans that aren't too flared, aren't too tapered. You are single handedly saving the world from muffin tops and bunchy ankles.

 Thanks,

Sarah
