We have showing the 2008 fashion trends in fashion styles, handbags, clothing, apparels and designer looks. This year, the fashionising
and examiner site has described the fashion trends "in" and "out" for
2008 and some have to be tossed aside with hopes of a future fashion
resurrection.
Sheer fabrics trend
Blouses using sheer fabrics are back and with a level of
sophistication. It can also used for skirts and pants as well. The
sheer fabrics are structured, soft, sexy, sweet and feminine with a
blunt edge. Dior, Chloe and Chanel are some of the big fashion houses
that would like try it on for the year 2008.
Flapper fashion
Since we saw, Kate
Moss , we are predicting the 1920's flapper trends and it can be shown
in the fashion runaway shows . The flapper fashion trend is
particularly in vintage styles like loose-fitting dress , more minis ,
smocks and will populate into variety of different cuts and fits.
As
shown in picture , this was the original 1920s flapper girl which will
be seen as more independent and free and through the 2008 fashion
revival it will become more feminine and sophisticated.
In 2008, flapper fashion is the cat's pyjamas.
Accentuated shoulders trend
Short sleeves on garments with pointed capped sleeves will take a new
look. Through using this clothes, shoulders will emphasized and looks you feminine .
As shown in picture is the short sleeves of YSL to the high rounded shoulders of Balenciaga. It is the same with the 1980's over sized shoulder padded power suits.
Feminine dressing in neutral color

In:
Feminine dressing, thin belts, head scarves, pencil skirts that are
knee length or longer, sequins, metallics, silk jersey and chiffon,
hats, clutches, dressing up, colors- orange, rose, lavender, green and
silver, the new neutral.
Giant handbags
2008 sees the year of the over sized bag and for larger tote-style or
shoulder bags. Increased weight and bulk means that the humble clutch
purse is relegated to evening wear, as the majority of bags are now
carried over the shoulder rather than in the hand.
In 2008 the fashion industry has overdosed on that trend and bags will start shrinking in size.
