Cédric Charlier offers clothes that are elegant but contemporary, and produced with a sharp attention to detail. The Belgian designer launched his eponymous label in 2012 and quickly became known for combining fluid drapery with clean shapes.
Cédric Charlier was introduced to the art of textiles as a young child, when his pattern-maker grandmother taught him embroidery. After graduating from a prestigious Brussels fashion institution, Charlier won the Moet Hennessy Fashion Award, going on to build his design portfolio at Celine, Lanvin, and Cacharel. In 2012, armed with a practiced command of draping and cut and a respect for the feminine form, Charlier launched his namesake label. Guided by the designer’s elegant, adept hand, the Cedric Charlier apparel collection embodies an expressive, unbound aesthetic.
